Sydney Ferries ticket outlets at Circular Quay and Manly and at selected newsagents.
The DayTripper ticket
Save time queuing and buy once with a DayTripper ticket.
The DayTripper is a one-day ticket that gives you value for money. A DayTripper will give you unlimited travel (valid until 4am the following day) on:
- All regular Sydney Ferries' services.
- CityRail trains within the Sydney suburban area (bounded by Cowan, Emu Plains, Richmond, Carlingford, Macarthur, Cronulla, Otford and Bondi Junction stations).
- All regular Sydney Buses services.
DayTripper tickets are not valid on:
- Sydney Explorer and Bondi Explorer buses
- Special event buses
- Manly JetCats
- Entry or exit at the Airport Line stations (Green Square, Mascot, Domestic Airport and International Airport). An additional access fee applies at these stations.

DayTripper tickets are available at:
- CityRail stations in the Sydney suburban area
- On board Sydney Buses (excluding "Prepay Only" bus services)
- On board Sydney Ferries
- Sydney Buses TransitShops (except at Railway Square)
- Sydney Ferries' ticket offices at Circular Quay and Manly Wharf
Tickets purchased from CityRail stations and on board Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries are valid from the time of purchase. Tickets purchased from TransitShops are valid at the time of first use and can be pre-purchased.
The Family Fare Deal also applies to the DayTripper. When at least one fare paying adult travels with their children or grandchildren, the first child travels for a child fare and the other children travel free. A child is anyone between 4 and 15 years of age inclusive.
Fares are valid from 11 November 2007 and include GST.
Ideal usage: For travel on bus, train and ferry in one day. Buy your ticket from Sydney Buses or CityRail to save time queuing at Circular Quay or Manly.
Note: DayTripper Tickets are not valid for travel on T-way services.
TravelPass
The TravelPass gives you unlimited travel around Sydney using a combination of CityRail trains, Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries.

All tickets are valid until 4am the morning after the expiry date and are non-transferable.
