Free Travel for veterans on Anzac Day 2008 (posted 14 April 2008)
Sydney Ferries has extended an offer of free travel on Anzac Day Friday, 25 April 2008 to veterans, their families and serving members of the Defence Forces participating in the Anzac Day march.
To obtain free travel, veterans need only wear their uniforms, display their medals or show a letter on the official notepaper of their local Returned and Services league (RSL) Branch.
Free travel will also apply to widows, children and grandchildren of veterans under these conditions.
Widows, children and grandchildren of veterans attending ceremonies not accompanied by a veteran will be able to obtain free travel by showing a letter on the official notepaper of their local Returned and Services league (RSL) Branch.
Please note that free travel will not be available on Manly JetCats.
