National Trust Festival 2008 (posted 25 March)
The National Trust Festival 2008 encompasses hundreds of fantastic events across metropolitan and regional NSW from Saturday, 5 April to Sunday, 20 April, 2008.
This festival theme this year is ‘Our Place’.
‘Our Place’ is about Australia and its people. ‘Our Place’ is a home, a building, a club, a street, a business, a trade, a playing field, or a theatre. ‘Our Place’ may also be a museum, an art gallery, a restaurant, an historic site, a garden, a shopping mall, or a sports stadium. ‘Our Place’ is a shire, a region, the state, our country, our place in the world, even a place that exists in collective memory, or a future place.
A wide range of community activities are on offer this year, including architectural discovery tours, art exhibitions, walks, talks, awards, photography competitions and community fairs.
