Media Statement - Incident 11 October 2010 (Posted: 11-Oct-2010)
At 8.47 this morning, the 8.22am Balmain West to Circular Quay ferry service experienced a mechanical failure and collided with the sea wall near Jeffereys Street Wharf, Kirribilli.
There is superficial damage to both the Anne Sergeant HarbourCat and the sea wall, and two people have required medical attention.
Sydney Ferries is working with NSW Water Police and an investigation is now underway.
All services are running to schedule.
