Take a ferry to see Painting the Rocks at Museum of Sydney (Posted: 23-Aug-2010)
Immerse yourself in some of Sydney Harbour's unique history by catching the ferry to Circular Quay to view the new exhibition Painting the Rocks - The Loss of Old Sydney at the Museum of Sydney.
Countless colonial buildings were domolished in The Rocks in the early 1900s.
A group of artists set out to capture ‘Old Sydney’ before it disappeared in the city’s transition to a modern metropolis.
Painting the Rocks places paintings alongside government-commissioned photography, inspection reports and remodelling plans.
A great weekday or weekend outing for people interested in history, architecture and Sydney Harbour.
