River Express Service Begins 23 November! (updated 20 January 2010)
Sydney Ferries’ new River Express service operates 7.00am to 7.00pm weekdays and between 8.00am and 7.00pm on weekends and public holidays. The service makes one stop at Rydalmere Wharf on route to Parramatta Wharf.
Services between Circular Quay and Rydalmere Wharf take 35 minutes, and 55 minutes between Circular Quay and Parramatta Wharf.
As announced by the Minister of Transport, David Campbell and the Minister Assisting, David Borger, this new service will provide commuters in the Parramatta and Rydalmere regions with a ferry service during the morning and evening peaks.
As part of the timetable, Sydney Ferries has bus services in place between Parramatta and Rydalmere, when ferry services are affected in the upper section of the river due to low tides. View affected services.
