Special ferry services to Cockatoo Island for Outpost Arts Festival (updated 30 Nov) (Posted: 08-Nov-2011)
The festival runs from 4 November through to 11 December 2011 and the best way to travel to Outpost on Cockatoo Island is by Sydney Ferries.
Sydney Ferries runs regular services to and from Cockatoo Island on both the Parramatta River and Woolwich / Balmain routes, however capacity on regular services is limited.
To avoid disappointment we encourage all customers to catch the special event ferries from Circular Quay which have a larger capacity and go direct to the island.
Special event services
Travel to Circular Quay and connect to the special event services below. Consider buying a MyMulti DayPass or Family Funday Sunday ticket to avoid ticket queues and make travelling between modes easier and more convenient.
The additional direct services will run from Wharf 4 at Circular Quay, direct to Cockatoo Island for each weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of the festival.
