Current Employment Opportunity - Maritime Trainee (Posted: 04-Oct-2011)
Maritime Trainees are enrolled in Certificate 3 in Transport & Distribution (Marine Engine Driving Grade 2) and throughout the conduct of their traineeship participate in a range of on and off the job nationally recognised training and assessment interventions. Additionally the Maritime Trainees engage in the daily operation, navigation, selling of tickets, cleaning, security and maintenance of ferries, wharves and facilities.
Importantly, Maritime Trainees participate in targeted customer service and safety related training, as well as acquiring time in engineering support roles to assist them in successful completion of their traineeship program.
