Cockatoo Island closed for private event (Red Bull X Fighters) Saturday 17 September UPDATED (Posted: 26-Aug-2011)
Cockatoo island will be closed to the general public on Saturday, 17 September for the Red Bull X-Fighters series event.
This means that regular Sydney Ferries services will not stop at Cockatoo Island on Saturday, 17 September.
Red Bull X-Fighters ticket holders be transferred to/from the island by private event ferry included in their entry ticket price.
Event ferries will depart and return to Circular Quay and King St Wharf in Darling Harbour. Departure times can be selected at time of ticket purchase.
Other Sydney Ferries’ services are operating to a normal weekend timetable.
