Parramatta wharf services temporarily suspended (posted 2 June 2008)

Parramatta wharf services temporarily suspended until further notice.

Sydney Ferries advises passengers that services to Parramatta Wharf have been temporarily suspended due to flooding of the Parramatta Weir.

Parramatta services will terminate at Rydalmere Wharf until further notice after rain this morning caused a large volume of water to rush over the weir next to Parramatta Wharf, making it difficult to berth safely.

Sydney Ferries will monitor the situation closely and resume services to Parramatta Wharf when it is safe to do so.

Sydney Ferries thanks you for your patience and understanding.

Passengers are advised to contact the Transport Infoline on 131 500 for the latest service information or alternative public transport options to Parramatta Wharf.
