Sydney Ferries is currently advertising for applicants for General Purpose Hand (GPH) Casuals.
Sydney Ferries' General Purpose Hands undertake work on Sydney Ferries' wharves, gates and vessels. This is a casual position.
The successful candidates will have:
- A friendly outgoing manner and a willingness to work in a team.
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a busy, high volume environment.
- Cash handling skills are desirable.
Applicants are required to meet ALL of the selection criteria.
Additional Information:
- All Transport workers are subject to random drug and alcohol testing and are required to clear a criminal history record check.
- Staff will be rostered over a 7 day week that includes weekends and public holidays.
- Shifts are a minimum of four hours to a maximum of twelve hours in a day.
