How can I determine which single ticket I require when travelling to or from Circular Quay?
Use the Sydney Ferries network map to check which service you need to take then refer to the table below for your ticket price.
A single ticket is valid for a one-way journey (that is to or from your desired location and Circular Quay) on the day of purchase only. If you need to change ferries at Circular Quay, you must purchase an additional ticket for the second journey.
How much does a single trip cost between outer wharves (that is, not travelling to or from Circular Quay)?
Your price will depend on the distance of your journey. In most cases your single journey will fall within the MyFerry1 (under 9km) distance. The only exceptions to this are;
1. Manly travel (as per the above table - this falls in the MyFerry2 price zone)

How much does a return ticket or round trip ticket cost?
A return ticket costs the same as two single tickets.
This entitles you to either board the ferry and stay on board until you return to the place you boarded (round trip) or you can get off at one stop anywhere on that route, and board a later service back to your boarding point.
Return Ticket Example:
If boarding the Darling Harbour service at Circular Quay you have two options;
1. To get off at any one of the listed stops on this service, and to board a later service returning to your starting point. This trip would cost you $10.60.
2. To stay on board this ferry to complete the entire circuit. This trip would also cost you $10.60.

Concession fares are available to children aged between four (4) and fifteen (15) years and holders of: NSW/ACT Student Identification Cards; Apprentice Identification Card; NSW Half Fare Entitlement Card; Australian Traineeship System Trainee ID Card; Australian Pensioners Concession Card; Australian Seniors Card; NSW or Victorian War Widow/er Pension Card.
